WIN-WIN SIIT 3 Study Visits Highlight Strong Connections Between VET and Local Industry

DAY 3 – Wednesday, 20 May 2026
Out of the classroom, into the field
Day 3 of WIN-WIN SIIT 3 moved beyond the meeting room and into real-life learning environments — exactly where vocational education and training (VET) comes to life.
The day was dedicated to study visits organised by our host, Elemtiez Formation, with two inspiring stops:
• Elemtiez Jendouba — a dynamic VET centre presenting practical examples of vocational training closely connected to the local economy.
• AFMT – École de formation dans les métiers du tourisme, in Aïn Draham — a specialised tourism training institution located in a remarkable natural setting.
These visits offered partners valuable insight into how Tunisian VET providers collaborate with local businesses, prepare learners for employment, and align education with labour-market needs. Observing these partnerships in practice provided concrete inspiration for all participating organisations.
Eng. Yazeed Issa, representing TET – Technical Engineers for Technology (Jordan), actively engaged with Tunisian trainers throughout the day, exchanging experiences, observing methodologies, and strengthening connections between the Jordanian and Tunisian VET ecosystems. As highlighted by TET, both contexts share many similarities and offer strong potential for future cooperation.
The day served as a strong reminder that the WIN-WIN project is built not only through formal sessions, but also through shared experiences, discussions, and field learning opportunities.
